Sam Himself
Sam Himself, New York's leading (and probably only) Fondue Western™ baritone, is back with «Never Let Me Go». The new single, released on 22 July, offers the first foretaste of the second album by the Swiss «King of Tears» (RTS), which will be released in early 2023. It will be recorded by Sam's long-time «second Beatle» New York producer Daniel Schlett (Iggy Pop; The War on Drugs); mastering will again be done by Greg Calbi (David Bowie; Bruce Springsteen).
For the recording of his new material, Sam will return to Strange Weather Studio, his creative home base in Brooklyn, in early 2022. There, Sam and his producer Schlett will be supported by bassist Josh Werner (CoCo Rosie; Ghostface Killah) and drummer Chris Egan (Blood Orange; Solange).
Sam Himself announces a Tournee of Germany and Switzerland to coincide with the release of his new album. Additional stops in Europe and a series of US dates are planned for next year.
