EAGERLY ANTICIPATING THE WINTER SEASON
Skiing, hiking, cross-country skiing, golfing, bear watching and enjoying views – this is the winter sports area Arosa Lenzerheide starting from the month of November. As of Saturday 27 October 2018 various mountain facilities and cross-country skiing tracks will be in operation (if snow conditions allow).

OPERATING HOURS IN NOVEMBER 2018
Arosa-Weisshorn cable car section 1 and 2
From 27 October to 25 November 2018 the section 1 and 2 of the Arosa Weisshorn cable car is only operational on weekends from 9.00am – 5.00pm and only for pedestrians.
Riding times remain the same as during the summer season: 9.10am – 5.10pm / last downhill gondola at 5.30pm from Weisshorn
Bikes are being transported as long as the tracks are free of snow and riding is still safe.
Prices are the same as during the summer season.
Hörnli-Express gondola and Hörnli chairlift
As soon as skiing is possible the gondola and the chairlift will be operational on weekends. If skiing is not possible the Hörnli hill area remains closed (also for hikers and bikers).
Operating hours are the same as during the winter season: 8.40am - 4.00pm / last downhill gondola at 4.45pm

*available only when the Urden Aerial Railway and the Urdenfürggli chairlift are in operation. Operating hours are the same as during the winter season.
November High passes are personal and non-transferable.
Identification obligation: as a guest you are required to possess a skiing pass according to your age category. You are obliged to prove your identity with an official document. Ticket controls are regularly conducted and misuse will result in fines of up to CHF 500.-.

Package with ski testing
Numerous new products of the season 2018/19 are ready to be tested. No carrying heavy luggage when travelling by train. When arriving by car there is no need for a ski rack and during the summer there are no skis taking up space in your storage.
Please note: all packages are only valid when snow conditions allow the opening of the slopes on the mentioned November weekends.
SKI TESTING IN NOVEMBER
Ski testing weekends on the Hörnli in November with the newest products of the season 2018/19 will take place on the following dates at the peak station of the Hörnli-Express gondola

SKI AND SNOWBOARD LESSONS
Some snow sports schools already offer private skiing and snowboarding lessons at Hörnli. Please contact our snow sports schools directly if you are interested in booking a lesson.
CROSS-COUNTRY IN NOVEMBER
The cross-country tracks will be prepared and maintained as soon as snow conditions permit. The tracks are located at Isel. Please consult the website for more information and news regarding the opening of the tracks.
GOLF AFTER THE SUMMER SEASON
The Golf Club Arosa office officially closes on 21 October 2018. The golf course (holes 1-9) however, is still open given there is no snow or frost. For green-fee players there will be a box with pay-in slips. The driving range will remain closed.
