    Rothorn sunrise

    Early before daybreak, you ride up to the Parpaner Rothorn at 2865 m a.s.l. On a short mountain trail you will reach the eastern summit, where you can watch the sun rise behind the mountain peaks. Afterwards start the day with a rich breakfast from the mountain restaurant Rothorngipfel. You can either go on a hike, a mountainbike tour or take the cable car down to the valley.

1. Waterway to the Schaftobelfall

The Schaftobelfall is a 63 meter high waterfall with a simple cascade-like fall. It gets its name from the stream in which its water continues to flow, the Schaftobelbach. Along the Albula and to the Schaftobelfall, the waterway offers numerous beautiful trail sections.

2. Alp Sanaspans - Rothorn

A challenging tour, which makes high demands on your fitness and offers some highlights. The waterfall in Sanaspans, for example, not only takes your breath away but also offers a lot to discover.

3. Path of the pioneers

Hike through the Crap Furò natural forest reserve in Surava to the geographical centre of Graubünden and learn more about the pioneering work of man and nature on the theme trail.

4. Via Sett

On foot across the Septimer, from one Alpine town to the next. Already in Roman times the Septimer was one of the most important Alpine crossings. At the centre of this cultural and long-distance hiking trail are three linguistic and cultural areas, a diverse cultural landscape - from the Alpine step to the chestnut woods, as well as a multitude of historical buildings - from the bishop's town of Chur via Lenzerheide, through Surses and Bergell to Chiavenna.

5. Culture trail Brienz - Vazerol

Hiking or trail running combined with cultural discoveries. Along the way there are various cultural highlights such as the Belfort castle ruins or the Paunt dalla Dieschma - the bridge over which the trade route once ran.

6. Biathlon beginner course

Discover the «fascination of biathlon». The mixture of concentration and precision in shooting as well as a stamina unit make biathlon a challenge for body and soul. After an introduction to shooting, you can try to raise your pulse while running, roller-skating or biking and then try to hit the target.

7. Graubünden Marathon

From 2003 - 2014 the Graubünden Marathon took place annually. It was considered one of the toughest mountain marathons in Europe and of course had some partial routes. The complete marathon leads from Chur to the Rothorn in Lenzerheide. Discover all the routes in our tour portal and set off on an active adventure.

8. Creusen

Creusen is a Maiensäss in the municipality of Vaz/Obervaz, situated at 1.520 metres above main sea level and home to one of the smallest chapels. A leisurely hike or short run leads from Lenzerheide via Lain to Creusen. Alternatively, a scenic hike from Zorten via Creusen to Tgantieni can be combined.

9. Dreibündenstein

Proud like an ibex, the large boundary stone of the former three confederations, which as a stone monument reminds of the freedom fighters of Graubünden, rises to the sky. The Dreibündenstein at 2.160 meters above mean sea level is simultaneously a peak, a plateau and a historical border point. Various hiking and trail running tours with spectacular views lead to it.
