The Lenzerheide Biathlon Arena is an important training and competition centre for both national and international teams. In taster sessions, even biathlon novices can discover this exciting sport. In summer, cross-country skis are replaced by bike, roller skis, inline skates and Nordic walking sticks.

Mastercraft Heidseewake

Wakeboarding in on the Heidsee in Lenzerheide will also possible this summer. The wakeboard lift will be open from 3 August until 15 September 2019.

More summer activities in Lenzerheide

In the Lenzerheide holiday region, tennis enthusiasts will find 14 public tennis courts, both indoor and outdoor courts. Lenzerheide tennis club has a variety of offers and provides training courses with certified tennis coaches. The public restaurant «Tennishüsli», with its fantastic sun terrace, invites you to stay.

Hurl yourself into the sand! At the water sports centre on Heidsee lake, a large beach volleyball court is available for exciting matches. The volley ball court can also be hired, to do so, contact Heidsee water sports centre. The beach volleyball court is only open during good weather.

As the high valley of the Lenzerheide holiday region is aligned north-south, paragliders and hang-gliders must expect strong high alpine winds. As a flying area for beginners it has to be classified as difficult and it is only recommended for skilled pilots. Please see below for the contact of the flying schools.

The fishing season on the Heidsee ended on 15 October 2019.
Trapped are chars, rainbow trouts, brook trouts and tenches. Several times each season the fish are exposed in the lake. The two lakes are private waters and are managed and administered by the municipality Vaz/Obervaz. Children are entitled to patent terms from 12 years. More information at seefischerverein-heidsee.ch

In the traditional barn of the «Plantahof» you can now visit a new alpine cheesery with glass facade and a spacious auditorium. Visitors are given the opportunity to look the farmers over the shoulders to gain exciting insights into the world of alpine cheese and to taste the final product.
