Europe's most beautiful bike marathon, June 14th 2020
Even without the Splügen Pass, the 20th Alpen Challenge has lived up to its name. After 3:46:11 hours on Sunday, Niki Hug from Olten won the 117.4 kilometre «short distance» of the Alpen Challenge ahead of the Engadine Fadri Barandun and last year's runner-up Wolfgang Voit. Last year's runner-up Nina Zoller from Chur left no questions unanswered in the women's competition and won in 4:03:32 hours by 24:14 minutes ahead of Monika Dietl from Freising in Germany and Joy Welti from Walenstadt.
The next Alpen Challenge will take place on June, 14th 2020.
The registration places are given away following the date of registration. Places are limited to 1’500 participants.
Registration will not be possible after the limit has been reached.
