35th Planoiras Folk Cross-Country Skiing Race

Traditional cross-country skiing event in Lenzerheide

On Sunday, 12 January 2020, the traditional Planoiras cross-country race will take place for the 35th time in the Lenzerheide holiday region. Measure yourself over 25 fantastic and interesting kilometres (or 12.5 km at the Planoirino) through the snow-covered winter landscape from the Biathlon Arena in Lantsch/Lenz via Lenzerheide and Valbella to Parpan and back to Lenzerheide with around 450 participants.

 The 23rd Planoiras Jugendlauf and the 4th Heja Heja Special Olympics snowshoe and cross-country race will start one day earlier, on Saturday 11 January 2020. Further information will be available here in autumn 2019. We are looking forward to your participation and wish you a good time!

Routes and Altitude Profile

The route from Planoiras (25 km) leads from the Biathlon Arena in Lantsch/Lenz to Lenzerheide, Valbella, Parpan, back to Valbella and to the finish at Luziuswiese in Lenzerheide. 
The Planoirino (12.5 km) starts in the Biathlon Arena in Lantsch/Lenz, leads to Lenzerheide, Valbella to Lenzerheide Luziuswiese. 

Type of competition: Free technique, tracks are available all along the route.
