The time has come: The IBU Youth & Junior World Championships Biathlon 2020 are about to begin. On Friday 24th of January 2020, the first training session will start at Biathlon Arena Lenzerheide in Lantsch/Lenz. On Saturday 25th of January 2020 the opening ceremony will take place at Kurhaus Lenzerheide. The competition will start on Sunday 26th of January and will last until the 2nd of February 2020. The organizers are looking forward to a high class biathlon festival.
The line-up of the third LIVE is LIFE in Arosa Lenzerheide lives up to its reputation: The music festival doesn't only reach for the national stars. Besides Swiss greats such as Stress, Philipp Fankhauser or the Stefanie Heinzmann Trio, international acts such as Sugarhill Gang & Furious Five (USA), Prop Dylan (Sweden) as well as Kool Savas and LaBrassBanda (both Germany) will perform on the small and intimate stages in Arosa and Lenzerheide from 3rd to 5th of April 2020.
From 23 January to 2 February 2020, the best young athletes from all over the world will compete for the first time at the Biathlon Youth and Junior World Championships in Lenzerheide. During the event days, the following restrictions in tourist operations are to be expected.
At Alp Stätz, you can ski down a 3.5 km freshly groomed and illuminated slope on New Year's Eve and every Friday evening from 10 January to 10 March 2020. For dinner, the Alp Stätz mountain restaurant offers a choice of all-you-can-eat fondue, raclette or its legendary fondue chinoise.
Grisons biggest winter sports area Arosa Lenzerheide has a new attraction. From Saturday 21 December 2019, the first 6-seater charliftin Arosa will be in service and move guests at the top of Brüggerhorn.
This winter, the snowpark on Tschuggen is now on the right-hand side of piste 15, making use of the naturally playful terrain, which is ideal for a snowpark. From waves, hollows, creative obstacles to small and large kickers, the new park set-up offers a varied and playful range of activities.
It won't be long before the cross-country skiing fever breaks out in Lenzerheide. On the weekend between Christmas and New Year, 28th and 29th December 2019, the international cross-country skiing elite will be making their fourth guest appearance in Lenzerheide.
The destinations Arosa and Lenzerheide decided to shut down their app due to the continuous improvement of their mobile responsive website. As of end of December 2019 the app will not be longer available at the App Store and Google Play Store.
