Stätz Race 2020

Folk ski race on the 4th of April 2020

The Arosa Lenzerheide snow sports area invites you to the «Stätz Race» folk ski race. Probably the most ingenious and longest race track in the Grison Alps starts at the Stätzerhorn mountain station (2,421 m a.s.l.) and leads over 4.5 km and 894 metres deep to the finish at the Avant Clavo mountain restaurant (1,527 m a.s.l.). . All persons aged 16 and over are invited to take part. Our category «Handicap» is of special importance. In the finish area, the Avant Clavo team will provide food and beverages as well as the best entertainment.

REGISTRATION

​​​​​​The online registration will be activated from 1 December 2019. Participation in the Stätz Race is only only possible with skis. Snowboards are not allowed. The entry fee is CHF 70.00 per person and includes breakfast after the race.
An additional fee of CHF 10.00 will be collected for registration on the race day. The number of participants is limited to 250. Save your starting place from 1 December 2019 and be part of the revolutionary Race 2020!

Race and training information

The participants have the opportunity to complete two training sessions (dates will be defined later). The training fee is CHF 50.00 including breakfast in the Avant Clavo.

The race track for the Stätz Race is open for inspection on Saturday morning, 4 April 2020, from 07.00 - 08.30 am. Race training is prohibited. Non-compliance with this order will result in disqualification. From 08.30 am until the start of the race the course is closed for all participants.

The race office is located at the cash desk Fadail in Lenzerheide and is open on Saturday, 4 April 2020 from 06.00 am.

It is obligatory for every participant, to wear a helmet. When not adhering, you will be disqualified. Race suits are only allowed in the race category. Racing suits are not allowed in the category «Fun».
