Team Arosa Lenzerheide

Arosa Lenzerheide relies on ski races from the region. The ski racers Stefan Rogentin and Gilles Roulin will be skiing for the Arosa Lenzerheide snow sports area starting next season. With a view of the Home World Cup 2021, the athletes will train with their number as Team Arosa Lenzerheide with immediate effect.

Starting next season, Stefan Rogentin, who was born in Lenzerheide, and Gilles Roulin, with a second home in the region, will be skiing for their heart destination Arosa Lenzerheide. «In Lenzerheide I was able to discover my greatest passion. For 23 years I have felt at home here. After skiing on three continents and in over 15 countries, I can say with great pride that it is great in many places, but it is most beautiful here in Arosa Lenzerheide. I am therefore particularly honoured to be part of the Arosa Lenzerheide team and to be on the road as an ambassador for our beautiful mountain world,» says Gilles Roulin about his bond to the snow sports region. Both athletes have been members of the Lenzerheide Ski Club since they were young and developed a passion for sport and the region at an early age. With a view of the Ski World Cup Final 2021 in Lenzerheide, the athletes will appear as Team Arosa Lenzerheide during the training sessions and represent the snow sports region. 

Both ski racers can already look back on sporting successes. Stefan Rogentin took 18th place in the alpine combination at the Bansko World Cup (BUL), 19th place in the Super-G at the Lake Louise World Cup (CAN) and second place twice in the overall European Cup. «It is my goal to establish myself in the World Cup and to be among the top 15 in the world so that I can participate in the World Cup Final in Lenzerheide in the fight for the podium places,» says Stefan Rogentin about his sporting goals. For Gilles, too, it is clear that he wants to establish himself among the world's best and to be among the first places in the final in Lenzerheide. 

In addition to the printed training numbers, the two athletes will for the first time organise a «Kids Race Camp» in Arosa Lenzerheide next winter 19/20 together with the snow sports region. The camp will take place from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 March 2020 in Lenzerheide. Children between the ages of 10 and 16 can work on their skills for two days and receive tip directly from the professionals on the slopes. In addition to promoting young talent in ski racing, the camp also aims to create an attractive offer for holiday/regular guest and locals in the winter sports region Arosa Lenzerheide.
