Tour d'Albula

A difficult and long trail tour on technically demanding paths in the Albulatal to Monstein. Very good riding technique, stamina, sure-footedness and head for heights are prerequisites.

This 70 kilometres long tour containts almost 50% singletrails and over 2,000 metres in altitude - not many bike tours have the same ratio as this round. Bikers who enjoy technical challenges on scenically impressive trails will be thrilled by this tour. Between Lantsch/Lenz and Davos, the tour leads to both sides of the Landwasser incision on narrow, exposed paths high above the Zügenschlucht gorge towards Davos. Without the necessary driving technique, you will be forced to walk a large part of the tour. A stop at the Landwasser viaduct in front of Alvaneu Bad is well worth it; the impressive railway bridge is 65 m high and 142 m long - the Rhaetian Railway's most frequently photographed structure. From Tiefencastel the route leads via Alvaschein and Tschivadains back to Lenzerheide.
