Experience thrilling biathlon competitions live on the spot

Shortly before Christmas, the international biathlon youth scene will be visiting the Biathlon Arena Lenzerheide for the third time. 250 athletes from 30 nations aged between 19 and 20 are expected. Thrilling biathlon competitions are guaranteed, because the stars of tomorrow won't let anything burn. In view of the Youth and Junior World Championships 2020 in Lenzerheide, the Junior Cup is an important indicator for many athletes to get a feeling of the World Championships venue - and for all biathlon fans and sports enthusiasts the opportunity to experience this fascinating sport up close.

IBU Junior Cup Series

At the biathlon competitions of the IBU Junior Cup Series are juniors and youth competitors starting. Each IBU member federation is allowed to register 5 male and 5 female athletes. In each cup there are two competitions made up of single, sprint, pursuit and relay. There are 4 IBU Junior Cups per season and the last cup will be considered as an open Junior European Championship. In 2020, the IBU Youth/Junior World Championships will take place in Lenzerheide. 

Volunteers wanted

Join us when the biathletes of the second highest level compete in the disciplines relay, sprint and pursuit on two days of competition. To organise and carry out this demanding competition successfully, we are dependent on the support and commitment of volunteers.
