Skiresort.de, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts, will once again be awarding prizes for the best ski resorts worldwide and the best performance of ski resorts in 2020. Since 1998, ski and snowboard fans, as well as the ski resorts themselves, have regarded the annual test winner awards as the most important industry award.

SnowTrex-Award 2020 - The most popular skiing areas

TravelTrex GmbH is one of the largest tour operators of winter sports holidays in Germany. Every year, Travel Trex customers evaluate the respective destinations and winter sports areas. Arosa Lenzerheide was voted one of the top destinations 2020 and receives the coveted SnowTrex Award.

Among the award winners are huge ski resorts in the French Alps, family ski resorts and glacier slopes in Austria, the fascinating variety of slopes in the Dolomites and top sellers in Switzerland and Germany.

3rd place in the «Best Ski Resort» study 2020.

Within the scope of the renowned BEST SKI RESORT 2020 study, almost 40,000 winter sports enthusiasts were questioned about 55 top ski resorts from five nations.

Arosa Lenzerheide took an excellent 3rd place in the overall ranking. The BEST SKI RESORT STUDY provides guests as well as ski resorts with interesting insights into the quality of the ski resorts, guest satisfaction and the most important criteria when choosing a winter sports resort.

Comparison of ski areas by CHECK24

At the beginning of the winter season 2019/20, the online comparison portal CHECK24 compared the best winter sports regions in the Alps in terms of family and beginner friendliness. We are pleased that Arosa Lenzerheide was awarded in both categories and that it can inspire families and beginners with an attractive offer for the coming winter as well.

Outdooractive Award

The first Outdooractive Award was presented at the current Outdooractive Conference. The self-proclaimed «largest outdoor platform in Europe» awarded first place to Arosa Lenzerheide. The tour portal specializes in outdoor sports such as GPS hiking, cycling, mountain biking, mountaineering and skiing.

The award honours partners «who have performed outstandingly in the creation of digital content on the Outdooractive platform», according to the organizers. The aim is to highlight innovative partners of the Outdooractive platform as examples of best practice and to drive the digital tourism industry forward.
