New brewing barley variety for the Graubünden mountain region
The Gran Alpin cooperative relaunched mountain farming in GR in the 1980s. In addition to other types, brewing barley is also cultivated. The newly bred variety ALPETTA is intended to replace the current late-maturing variety QUENCH.
