The ambulance base is an operation of Gesundheit Arosa AG and is run on behalf of the Chur Rescue Service. Our experienced team, consisting of qualified paramedics HF, transport paramedics and transport paramedics in training, carries out up to 400 missions a year in the municipality of Arosa. The ambulance vehicle is equipped to the latest standards. Injured or ill patients can therefore receive optimum care at the scene and be transported to hospital for further treatment.
Our team provides emergency medical first aid with the entire spectrum of rescue medicine. In the event of accidents and time-critical illnesses, we provide transportation to the local rescue helicopter landing pad, from where the Graubünden Cantonal Hospital in Chur can be reached within 10 minutes. Our services also include transfers to the cantonal hospital or to a patient's home hospital. We also cover local events such as the Arosa Classic Car Race, the Humorfestival and various snow sports events.
The ambulance base is stationed in Arosa. Our area of operation primarily covers the municipality of Arosa, Litzirüti and Langwies. Depending on availability, we also cover the side valleys and the whole of Schanfigg.
