Frequently asked questions
When exactly the offer is available and what it includes depends largely on the temperatures. In Arosa, skiing fun starts at the Hörnli valley station, and in Lenzerheide at the Heimberg valley station in Parpan. Be sure to check what is on offer before you arrive or make a purchase. There is a joint ski offer for Arosa and Lenzerheide, a ski offer in Arosa, or no ski offer at all.
The ski ticket is also a public transport ticket
During the winter season, the following valid tickets include free use of public transport (Rhaetian Railway in 2nd class and post bus) on the Arosa – Chur – Lenzerheide – Tiefencastel route for the purpose of winter sports (winter sports clothing must be worn):
- TOPCARD
- Seasonal or annual tickets for locals
- 4-hour and afternoon tickets
- Day and multi-day tickets for skiing and winter hiking
- Beginner and snow park tickets
- Day tickets for sledging
- Night sledging Lenzerheide
- LIGHT RIDE Lenzerheide
- SnowNights Lenzerheide
Note: Single journeys, partial offers (e.g. individual ski lifts, Pradaschier) and tickets for the EarlyBird are not valid on public transport. You can recognise their validity by the imprint «inkl. ÖV» (except for annual tickets). Free use of public transport is possible at the earliest one day before and at the latest one day after the validity of the ski ticket. Please note that only travel to and from your holiday destination and travel to and from the ski area in connection with the use of the mountain railways is included.
You can conveniently book your ticket online at shop.arosalenzerheide.swiss. Tickets and single journeys are also available at the ticket offices.
The offer depends on the weather and especially the temperatures. This can range from a hiking and biking offer to a larger ski operation in Arosa and Lenzerheide.
In recent years, skiing has been possible from a certain point in time. Due to the strong dependence on the temperatures over a longer period of time, we cannot give an exact estimate.
The aim is that we can give an indication for the weekend in the middle of each week.
