Arosa Lenzerheide has been committed to sustainable mountain railway operations for years, especially on an ecological level. An intact nature is not only one of the most important tourism drivers, but also an essential supplier of resources. Together we want to raise awareness among our service providers, partners and guests, set an example and expand the scope for action.

A large part of the emissions are caused by the guests' arrival. With a valid Arosa Lenzerheide snow sports ticket, you have the opportunity to use the Postbus and the Rhaetian Railway in the Arosa - Chur - Lenzerheide - Tiefencastel area free of charge and reduce your personal footprint accordingly.

If you are travelling with an electric vehicle, you will find several e-charging stations in Arosa Lenzerheide. Among others also directly at the Rothorn valley station. In addition to the "public transport ticket included", this is another contribution to reducing the energy consumption of our guests during their arrival and departure.

We also bring the #herzklopfafürmorgen to the road. Currently, three e-vehicles are on the road for Arosa Lenzerheide. In addition, we were one of three Swiss snow-sport regions to take delivery of our first «PistenBully 600 E+» at the start of the 2020/21 winter season, with another machine to follow in winter 2021/22. Thanks to its diesel-electric drive, the «PistenBully 600 E+» promises the lowest emissions and massively reduced diesel consumption. We are thus further reducing our CO2 consumption.
