ABOVE offers an unforgettable weekend together with local photographers Tomm Gadient and Veit Fritz, where the focus is not just on photography. We want to create shared experiences and experience the beauty of nature together with you and share our fascination for it.
On the first day, after your arrival at the Hotel Hof Maran, we will cover the basics of photography, from operating the camera to choosing the right settings for different situations.
After breakfast on Saturday morning, we will set off on a hike through the local mountains towards Welschtobel and experience nature up close. The wild Welschtobel offers an unforgettable backdrop for the ascent to the Ramozhütte, which lies at 2293 meters above sea level. At the Ramozhütte, we have the chance to observe wild animals and perhaps get closer to them. An experience that you will remember for a long time. We will spend the night in this hut on Saturday evening and eat together.
After spending the night in the hut, we will have the opportunity to experience the sunrise with an impressive panorama on Sunday morning before heading back to the hotel. There you will learn the basics of image editing. In an interactive workshop, we will show you how to improve your photos with the help of Lightroom to get the best out of your pictures.
