Arosa Lenzerheide is delighted with first Outdooractive Award

Arosa Lenzerheide cleared: The holiday region won this year's Outdooractive Award at the Outdooractive Conference in Immenstadt. This is the first time in the history of the Outdooractive platform that such a prize has been awarded to a partner. 

The first Outdooractive Award was presented yesterday evening at the current Outdooractive Conference. The self-proclaimed «largest outdoor platform in Europe» awarded first place to Arosa Lenzerheide. The tour portal specialises in outdoor sports such as GPS hiking, cycling, mountain biking, mountaineering and skiing.

The award honours partners «who have performed outstandingly in the creation of digital content on the Outdooractive platform», according to the organisers. The aim is to highlight innovative partners of the Outdooractive platform as examples of best practice and to drive the digital tourism industry forward.

Both Lenzerheide and Arosa are delighted with the award and appreciate the high profile of Outdooractive. «By winning first place, Outdooractive has given us the greatest possible visibility on the Outdooractive platform as part of a marketing and support package that gives us such a wide reach,» says Bruno Fläcklin, Tourism Director of the Lenzerheide holiday region. Arosa is also delighted, as Tourism Director Pascal Jenny points out: «Success in tourism depends on outstanding performance across the entire range of communication channels. We are very pleased with the praise from Outdooractive. It is a reflection of Arosa Lenzerheide's customer satisfaction.»
