Offer valid from 24 December 2025

Latest News

Thanks to the lower temperatures, technical snowmaking has resumed in the ski area. Snow is currently being made on open slopes in various locations. Given the still very thin snow cover, we must do everything we can to keep the slopes open for skiing over the next few days and until the end of the season. Another goal is to widen narrow sections to increase safety.

Further openings are possible on Saturday. More detailed information is expected to follow on Friday. The current offer can be viewed at any time in the live report.

Useful information for your stay

At the following entry points, the return trip to the valley is only possible by mountain railway, as there is no downhill run available:

  • Tgantieni chairlift
  • Heidbüel panorama railway
  • Rothorn 1 gondola lift
  • Arosa-Weisshorn 1 cable car, 1st section
  • Tschuggen Ost chairlift (descent with Arosa-Weisshorn 1 cable car, 1st section)
  • The following facilities are only open to pedestrians (no transport of skis or snowboards):
  • Scalottas chairlift
  • Rothorn 2 cable car

The Heimberg valley station can only be reached via the Schluocht piste (no. 28a). Due to the high frequency of traffic, we recommend that less experienced skiers use the Rothorn 1 gondola lift (via the Scharmoin ski lift) for the return journey. From the Rothorn valley station, you can take the PostBus to Parpan. Most ski passes include use of the PostBus on this route (Arrival & public transport | Arosa Lenzerheide ski area).

Over the coming Christmas/New Year period, the operating hours in Arosa will be as follows:

  • 8.20 a.m.: LAW 1st section, GB Kulm SB Tschuggen Ost (provisionally only uphill), SB Brüggerhorn
  • 8.30 a.m.: LAW 2nd section, SB Carmenna, SB Plattenhorn
  • 8.40 a.m.: Hörnli-Express gondola lift
  • 9.00 a.m.: other facilities

We wish you a Merry Christmas and stay healthy!
