Balloon Week Arosa

4 to 10 January 2026

Six pilots are in Arosa during Balloon Week, offering spectacular balloon rides with fantastic views. From the Kesselfahrt just above the rooftops of Arosa to the Alpine flight towards Prättigau. There is also lots of background information, such as what is needed for ballooning and why the pilots don't fly but drive.

Book your hot air balloon ride now

Soar above the mountains like you can only experience in a hot air balloon! Depending on the weather and wind conditions, the flight will take you either over the Arosa valley basin, one of the nearby valleys, or, with a bit of luck, even over the Alps. The wind determines your exact destination.

About us

The Arosa Balloon Club was founded in 1990 as an association and now has 25 members. Almost half of them are pilots with their own balloons.

The three main areas of focus

  • We support safe ballooning in Arosa and the Alps.
  • We organise the International Alpine Balloon Week in Arosa.
  • We operate a modern propane filling station (4.2 m3).
