Taking a cold bath

Take the plunge into Lake Untersee – even in spring!

Fancy a special experience amidst the Arosa mountains? Then let’s go: even without a layer of ice, the water is still refreshingly cool and perfect for an energising start to the day or as the perfect way to round it off.

It’s now officially ‘swimming season’! Whether it’s a test of courage, a quick break or simply because it feels really good – a dip in the cold water gives you an adrenaline rush, puts you in a good mood and clears your head.
Afterwards, the best way to warm up is with a cup of tea or hot chocolate whilst enjoying the magnificent mountain panorama.

Come along – the Untersee is waiting for you!

Arosa Ice Bath

Play ice mini-golf

Have you tried ice mini-golf in Arosa yet? Or haven’t you had time to give it a go yet?

Then now’s your last chance for an exciting game – or a rematch, if you’ve got a score to settle.

As temperatures are steadily rising, we recommend checking the current status of the ice mini-golf course before you visit.

Visit the bears

Arosa Bear Sanctuary is open daily from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm over the Easter days– the perfect time to visit the world of rescued bears.

The bears hibernate during the winter. Whether they venture out into the outdoor enclosure by Easter depends on the weather, snow and temperatures – so there’s always a little element of surprise.

Even if the bears are still hibernating, a visit is well worth it: the exhibition offers fascinating insights into the bears’ lives and their stories.

Look forward to an exciting Easter surprise on 5 April 2026. Find out more!

Eichhörnchen beobachten

The squirrel trail is one of the most popular themed trails for families – and for good reason. The curious squirrels come right up close and will even eat straight out of your hand. An experience that delights visitors of all ages.

The trail starts at Tomeli-Strasse (below the Waldhotel Arosa), leads through the forest and ends at the Maran bus stop.

To protect the animals and the natural environment, please stay on the marked path at all times and do not follow the squirrels into the forest.

Biking in Bike Kingdom

While there’s still snow on the ground elsewhere, you can already hit the first trails at Bike Kingdom. Thanks to the lower-altitude routes around Chur, Lenzerheide and Arosa, the cycling season starts earlier here – and ends later. Perfect for anyone who can’t wait to get started.

Grab your bike – the trails are ready. Are you?
