Archery Range

In the heart of the Schanfigg Valley you will find the two attractively designed "Archery Parks Hochwang". At the bubbling river in the valley bottom of Molinis, in the shady Fatschel forest and high above the forest line between Triemel and the Hochwang hut with a view into the fascinating mountain world, you will find our exciting parks. Both parks are equipped with a total of 28 3-D animals and barbecue areas as well as restaurants invite you to linger. Introductory courses are obligatory for beginners.

Summer

In summer, two archery parks entice you to go hunting, various mountain bike trails and different hikes. A magnificent mountain panorama awaits you on the sunny side of the Schanfigg in the middle of untouched nature. It is true that the Hochwang sports cableways take a break in summer. But the shuttle bus also runs during the summer season and takes you from the St. Peter - Molinis railway station to St. Peter, Pagig, Bofel, Fatschel and on to Triemel. Sun seekers enjoy the unique panoramic view with a delicious meal and a good drink in one of the cosy inns on Hochwang. A highlight: The Schanfigger Höhenweg leads on six stages through the wildly romantic Schanfigg, from hut to hut.

Winter

Informal, relaxed, varied. Hochwang is the insider tip in the Graubünden mountains and the ideal alternative for everyone who prefers to be out and about in a more natural environment. The small ski area is between Chur and Arosa. Eleven perfectly prepared natural ski slopes guarantee undisturbed winter fun for young and old. The mountain terrace of the Schanfigg valley is not just popular with winter sports fans and sun worshippers. The varied facilities also attract families and snowkiters. And the sunny Hochwang mountain is also easily accessible by public transport with the shuttlebus.

A different winter sport?

The Hochwang region offers 26 kilometers of slopes in the heart of the magnificent mountains and unspoilt nature. From the Fatschél valley station you take the chair lift up to the Triemel sun terrace. The highest point “Goldgruoba” is at 2,280 m and can be reached with the ski lift. Younger winter sports fans can perfect their turns using one of the two practice lifts.

Whether a relaxed winter hike or exhilarating toboggan fun. The Hochwang area also has something to offer away from the slopes. The 1.5 km toboggan run is a ritual. The unspoilt nature and beautiful mountain views can be admired on one of the sunny winter hiking routes. One highlight is the winter hiking route between Hochwang and Fideriser Heubergen which is 6.2 km long and connects the two areas.

What’s more: There are attractive special offers for groups and schools. How about a day skiing or a toboggan trip on the Hochwang?

Family adventures

The open area is particularly good for families. While the children let off steam on the slopes, the parents can enjoy the views with a coffee. And always with one eye on their little ones. A special family day ticket, with or without lunch, makes the winter day trip more affordable. The nursery slopes, practice lift and ski school ensure that your children will become emerging talents.

Snowkiting

In the world of snowkiting, Hochwang is one of the best spots in Europe. With its perfect southern aspect and frequent foehn wind, keen snowkiters are increasingly seen on the Hochwang. This is because the powdery, snow-covered slopes allow the kite fans to lift off, not fall down.
