«Anniversary Edition X» thrills Lenzerheide

The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Anniversary Edition X turned Lenzerheide into the heart of the international mountain bike scene for three days. With sunshine, summer vibes and an outstanding atmosphere, 20,800 fans celebrated an unforgettable World Cup weekend.

Swiss highlights

From a Swiss perspective, Ronja Blöchlinger delivered the standout moment with second place in the women’s XCO race and her first-ever World Cup podium. Sina Frei finished a strong fourth, Nicole Koller seventh and Ramona Forchini ninth. The next generation also impressed, with Fiona Schibler, Anina Hutter and Monique Halter all finishing in the top six of the U23 category.

Festival atmosphere in the Bike Kingdom

Beyond the racing, the side events thrilled the crowds: the Chopfab Team Race quickly became a fan favourite, the DJ Battle of Styles brought party vibes to the W.O.W. Party Dome on Saturday evening, and street art installations gave the anniversary edition its own special character.

A big thank you goes to all volunteers, the army, civil protection units, partners and the entire region. With the successful Anniversary Edition X, Lenzerheide looks back on another strong chapter in its World Cup history — and hopes to continue the success story in the Bike Kingdom in 2027.
