[tʃlˈfɪk]. Lecture on "Water and Electricity" at the Water Castle Lüen and the sound installation "Waves"
Following the trails of sound: Learn more about the cultural history of the Schanfigg and immerse yourself in the sound world of the valley. As part of the major project "[tʃlˈfɪk]: Sounding Cultural History in Schanfigg," different sound installations and objects will be discovered in various villages in Schanfigg during the summer months starting in 2024. The approximately 15 sounding installations make the cultural history of Schanfigg palpable on both sides of the valley.
In connection with the sound installation "Waves" at the Water Castle in Lüen, which makes random frequencies audible next to the water castle through electronic means and sensitizes to the interplay of hydropower and electricity, an interesting lecture on the topic of "Water and Electricity" and the Water Castle Lüen will take place on June 5, 2025.
More information about the sound installation can be found at arosa.swiss/klingend or on the Muva App (muva-app.ch).
Free admission, collection.
Start: At 6:00 PM at the water castle in Lüen.
With a lecture by Roman Spescha (ArosaEnergie) on "Water and Electricity" and comments from Ernst Pargätzi about the water castle Lüen.
If the weather is bad, the event will be canceled. Information will be provided by 6:00 PM the evening before.
This event is part of the event series of the major project “[tʃlˈfɪk]: Sounding Cultural History in Schanfigg.” You can find more information at arosa.swiss/klingend or on the Muva App (muva-app.ch).
