As part of the film series ‘Films for the Earth’, the Valsana Hotel is presenting the documentary «Microplastic Madnes» in cooperation with the ArosaAkademie on Wednesday, 5 February 2025.
«Microplastic Madnes» tells the story of 56 Brooklyn fifth-graders who are fighting plastic pollution on the front lines of the climate crisis and achieving measurable success. Using stop-motion animation, children's commentary and expert interviews, the film delivers an urgent message about the harmful effects of microplastics. The children act as scientists and citizen advocates, collecting data, informing politicians and campaigning for the elimination of single-use plastic at their school.
The film «Microplastic Madness» is a documentary and suitable for children aged 8 and over. The film is in English with German subtitels.
