Attention winter sports fans!
On the weekend of 23 and 24 November, we will start the 2024/25 winter season. Perfectly groomed slopes await you at the Hörnli in Arosa, offering the ideal introduction to winter.

This is what you can expect next weekend:

  • Hörnli-Express gondola lift: 8.45 am – 4.00 pm (last descent at 4.15 pm)
  • Hörnli chairlift: 9.00 am – 4.00 pm
  • Slopes no. 2, 5, 5a and 5b (see ski map for details)
  • Hörnli Hut: perfect for a break with a view

The valley descent to Arosa is not yet open to traffic, but the Hörnli-Express gondola lift will take you comfortably back to the valley. The free local bus will take you directly from the train station or the town centre to the valley station and back again.

A highlight even without skis – November high
A diverse mountain experience in the Arosa Lenzerheide Ski Area is also possible without winter sports. Exclusively for pedestrians: on 23 and 24 November 2024, both sections of the Arosa-Weisshorn aerial cableway will be in operation in Arosa as part of the November high. Nothing stands in the way of a visit to the Weisshorn summit, the 360° panorama restaurant and the Arosa Bear Sanctuary. In Lenzerheide, the Rothorn 1 gondola lift and the Rothorn 2 aerial cableway, as well as the Rothorn summit panorama restaurant, are open for excursions above the fog.

Particularly tempting
In Arosa, there is a 25% discount on overnight stays for the weekend. Browse through all the offers for the November high here.

Save the Date: Official start of the season on 30 November!
The countdown has begun. The 2024/25 winter season officially begins on 30 November. On both sides of the mountain, hard-working volunteers are currently preparing the Ski Area. A few days earlier, from 26 to 28 November, young Swiss athletes will be racing down the freshly groomed slopes at the Brack.ch FIS Races at Hörnli.
