Double win at the Blick Winter Awards

The ski area of Arosa Lenzerheide is the big winner of this year's Blick Winter Awards, taking first place in both the «Family» and «Ski and Snowboard» categories.

76 winter destinations went head-to-head in six different categories over the past few weeks. Over 70,000 votes were collected on winterawards.ch for the participating resorts. The ski area of Arosa Lenzerheide emerged as the big winner. Like last year, the largest connected ski area in Graubünden won twice again this year and convinced the community in both the «Family» and «Ski and Snowboard» categories. «A special thanks goes to our employees on the mountain,» says Philipp Holenstein (60), CEO of Arosa Bergbahnen AG, when accepting the rate. The resort lifts' employees are particularly challenged this winter to ensure that guests can enjoy their skiing. What makes Holenstein particularly happy: the many young skiers who are whizzing down the slopes in the village this season.
