#1: Romantic carriage ride

What could be better than roaming through the snowy winter countryside in a cosy carriage? A carriage ride through the Arlen forest is a wonderful experience and guarantees wonderful moments of togetherness.

#2: Cuddle with the squirrels

The famous Squirrel Trail is not just for children! Stroll through the forest hand-in-hand and watch the small rodents searching for food, even your adult heart may beat a little faster. Who will the first to feed a squirrel straight from their hand?

#3: Evening walk under the stars

You should take advantage of the evening atmosphere created by the illuminated fir trees and the clear starry sky and enjoy a long evening walk. And who knows, maybe this atmosphere will create the perfect opportunity to ask your beloved the most important question of all?

Tip: Pack your head torches and walk from the centre of Arosa towards the Schwellisee lake for a wonderful mood and a super view of the sea of stars.

#4: Snowshoe hikes through the wild, romantic forests

If you still want a bit of exercise despite all this romance, put on your snowshoes and walk together through the forests. There are two marked snowshoe tours for you in the Prätschli area that can be followed without too much prior knowledge. And if you want to be even more active, it’s best to book a tour with one of our partners.

#6: Skiing under the full moon

Sweeping turns in the snow in the light of the moon - pure romance. Once each month you have the opportunity to enjoy as many descents as you like as the 6-person Brüggerhorn chair lift is in operation until 9 p.m. The slope is not illuminated and this activity is dependent on the full moon.

#7: Candlelight dinner with Gault-Millau points

Take your partner out for a rather special explosion of pleasure. Arosa is proud to have four restaurants with Gault-Millan points in the area. Try out culinary delicacies at the Kachelofa-Stübli at the Waldhotel National, the Muntanella at the Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa, Le Bistro at the Hotel Cristallo or La Brezza at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel.

Tip: Every Sunday, the 360° panoramic restaurant Weisshorngipfel offers a generous breakfast including view of the mountain peaks. From 9.00 a.m., travel to the top by resort lift and then enjoy the fine brunch buffet until 11.00 a.m.
