Doing good together
Arosa Fund
What is the Arosa Fund? We'll show you what's behind it and how you too can make your contribution.
The World Winter Games for people with disabilities will take place in Switzerland from March 10 to 17, 2029. 2,500 athletes from more than 100 countries will get to know all regions of Switzerland, compete in nine sports and thus promote the equal coexistence of all people in our society.
The participants will also be able to pursue their sports in Arosa. Arosa would like to support people on their way to 2029 by establishing the Arosa Fund.
The donations generated by the Arosa Fund are used to invite mentally impaired people to Arosa to prepare for the Games. Since 2022, money has been collected for the fund via crowdfunding and targeted fundraising projects in Arosa in order to fulfill the mission.
Under “Projects”, you will find an ongoing list of current projects in Arosa and information on how you can get involved.
Arosa and its fans want to make a long-term and sustainable social commitment with the event and the fund! In this way, we promote social cohesion, enable easier access to winter sports for people with disabilities and support the promotion of young talent.
In this way, Arosa is taking a further step towards sustainability in order to achieve the Arosa 2030 goals.
How the money is used
Together with Special Olympics Switzerland, Arosa organizes a snow day once a year for all athletes interested in the 2029 World Winter Games.
