Latest News

Fantastic atmosphere, perfect conditions and a spectacular race
Thanks to the great efforts of the organising team, the 25-kilometre route between the Roland Arena and the Luziuswiese was in perfect condition despite a fresh snowfall.

Action-packed races and beaming winners
Jonas Baumann triumphed in the men's race with a commanding lead. With an impressive performance, he pulled ahead of his pursuers early on and extended his lead to over four minutes by the finish. The race for second place was exciting, with Ricky Steinauer winning the sprint. Mountain bike legend Nino Schurter also showed that he can shine not only on two wheels by finishing in ninth place.

Giuliana Werro dominated the women's ranking
The athlete from Zernez crossed the finish line almost unchallenged, clearly distancing last year's winner Sigrid Mutscheller. Local hero Selina Gasparin mastered the varied route with flying colours on her Planoiras debut, taking third place.

Young talents in the spotlight
Saturday was all about the young generation. The U16 category in particular offered exciting neck-and-neck races. In the end, Jon Nesa triumphed by a hair's breadth over Andrin Marti – a real highlight for fans and participants.

Planoirino: a classy short distance
The 13-kilometre Planoirino route was also a tough challenge. Gianin Juon and Otavia Vonplon secured victories in their categories, setting an example for the next generation of cross-country skiers.
