LIVE is LIFE - A line-up that moves mountains
The line-up of the third LIVE is LIFE in Arosa Lenzerheide lives up to its reputation: The music festival doesn't only reach for the national stars. Besides Swiss greats such as Stress, Philipp Fankhauser or the Stefanie Heinzmann Trio, international acts such as Sugarhill Gang & Furious Five (USA), Prop Dylan (Sweden) as well as Kool Savas and LaBrassBanda (both Germany) will perform on the small and intimate stages in Arosa Lenzerheide from 3rd to 5th of April 2020.
With the LIVE is LIFE festival, Arosa Lenzerheide is celebrating the beginning of spring on the first weekend of April 2020 with great music in the middle of their scenic mountains. Many national and international artists will play 27 concerts within 3 days. This year yet again LIVE is LIFE placed their bet on the best musicians in their respective genres and created a notable line-up consisting among others of insider tips and yet not less famous artists such as YOKKO or Crimer. Making sure from Blues to Pop to Hip-Hop, the spectators will find everything they could ask for.
The organizers are very happy with their wide and high-quality line-up. «It's an honor to have so many big as well as promising acts on our small stages, making sure to put a smile on everybody's face.» says president of the
organizing committee Giancarlo Pallioppi. In particular the talk in our region the past few weeks about who would be performing at LIVE is LIFE shows that locals as well as guests can't wait for the festival to begin.
Something for everybody
The mountain-side festival that mixes so well with a beautiful day in springtime is looking forward to welcoming many singing and dancing music lovers. Especially Crimer blends in perfectly: The pop-like sound with a touch of 80ies - The audience won't just love but live it as well. The unique soulful voice of Stefanie Heinzmann Trio will enchant the audience and will remain in their hearts. Among other great artists such as Open Season, Flo Mega, The Beatz, Baba Shrimps, Dada Ante Portas, Nicole Bernegger, The Led Farmers, HebDiDe and Akina McKenzie the audience can look forward to an energetic almost exploding performance from LaBrassBanda. «The hotter the show, the cooler the slopes», says Giancarlo Pallioppi.
If you can't wait until then can look forward to February 2020. On the 15th and 22nd of February two concerts will take place in Arosa and Lenzerheide. The acts won't be unknown to LIVE is LIFE fans. The Swiss electro-swing band Klischée will rock the holiday region Arosa Lenzerheide during these two days. If you already have your LIVE is LIFE festival pass, the two concerts in February are for free.
Locations on the mountain and in the valley
When it comes to locations the organizers will stay with their usual philosophy. Instead of large stages the bands will play in already existing small and intimate venues on the mountain and in the villages. «We are happy about having to change little to nothing regarding our venues and partners - it shows that our partners love LIVE is LIFE the same as we do.» says Giancarlo Pallioppi. The indoor concerts will take place at Güterschuppen, Provisorium13 and the Valsana Hotel & Apartments in Arosa as well as at Revier, the Hütte, the Cinema, Slalombar (Lenzerheide) and Obertor (Parpan). Mountain concerts will take place at Hörnli Hütte, Sit Hütte, Carmennahütte, Motta Hütte Avant Clavo, Crest'Ota and Scharmoin. Who is going to play which venue will be announced in March 2020.
Tickets presale and on site
The tickets for LIVE is LIFE are available as of now at the LIVE is LIFE venues.
