Restrictions mountain railroads before, during and after UCI Mountain Bike World Cup 2021

We are pleased that the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup will take place in Lenzerheide and are proud to welcome the Swiss medal winners from Tokyo as well as the other best athletes worldwide.

In order to be able to comply with the extensive protection concept and to organize a safe event for everyone, there will be restrictions in the track operation as well as in the Bike Kingdom Park before, during and after the event.

Track facilities
From September 2 - 5, 2021, the chairlifts Tgantieni, Scalottas, Pradaschier, the gondola Heidbüel as well as all facilities in Arosa including the Urdenbahn will be open for all guests. An admission ticket and a valid Covid certificate (3G) are required to enter the World Cup event area and to ride the Rothorn 1 gondola. Bikers cannot use the Rothorn 1 gondola during this time. Likewise, the Rothorn 2 cable car and the Weisshornspeed chairlift will not be in operation from September 2 - 5, 2021.

Guests with a TOPCARD or an annual pass Arosa Lenzerheide who want to use the gondola Rothorn 1 from September 2 - 5, 2021, must buy an event ticket and show a valid Covid certificate. When showing the TOPCARD or an annual pass Arosa Lenzerheide, they will receive a consumption voucher.

Bike Kingdom Park
From August 23 to September 8, 2021, there will be obstructions, closures and detours in the Bike Kingdom Park and in the Canols parking lot due to construction and clearing work as well as due to trainings and competitions.

Scharmoin Mountain Restaurant
The Scharmoin mountain restaurant will be closed from 31 August 2021 until and including Thursday, 2 September.
