Due to the updated decree of the Canton of Graubünden, the Arosa Lenzerheide snow sports area will be closed with immediate effect. Restaurants and retail businesses will be closed by Monday, 16 March 2020, 12.00 pm. Hotels and grocery stores remain open.

We came, we saw, but in the end all we could do was wait. After last Fridays communication of our authorities we have to inform you of the cancellation of your beloved LIVE is LIFE  Music Festival 2020.

Due to the ban on events with more than 1,000 participants imposed by the Federal Council and the instructions of the cantonal authorities, the qualifying race of the Grand Prix Migros in Arosa Lenzerheide on Saturday 29 February 2020 and the Famigros Ski Day on Sunday 1 March 2020 cannot be held. Swiss-Ski supports the decision for the benefit of the Swiss population.

In January 2020 the organising committee around the LIVE is LIFE music festival Arosa Lenzerheide was finally allowed to communicate the line-up with all national and international stars.  But that's not all: To shorten the waiting time until the festival for all fans and live music lovers, the Pre Concerts will be launched for the first time in 2020. 

The Motta hut in the snow sports area Arosa Lenzerheide is now also accessible from Parpan for winter hikers. This means that the popular mountain hut can be reached even more quickly and easily.

At the start of this year's winter season, the rope lift and the upper magic carpet were completely renewed at kidsvillae Auarara. In addition, various wooden «Mungga» have recently been added to make children's eyes shine. By upgrading the Kinderland, Lenzerheide Bergbahnen AG is strengthening the family offer in Arosa Lenzerheide.

The line-up of the third LIVE is LIFE in Arosa Lenzerheide lives up to its reputation: The music festival doesn't only reach for the national stars. Besides Swiss greats such as Stress, Philipp Fankhauser or the Stefanie Heinzmann Trio, international acts such as Sugarhill Gang & Furious Five (USA), Prop Dylan (Sweden) as well as Kool Savas and LaBrassBanda (both Germany) will perform on the small and intimate stages in Arosa and Lenzerheide from 3rd to 5th of April 2020.

At Alp Stätz, you can ski down a 3.5 km freshly groomed and illuminated slope on New Year's Eve and every Friday evening from 10 January to 10 March 2020. For dinner, the Alp Stätz mountain restaurant offers a choice of all-you-can-eat fondue, raclette or its legendary fondue chinoise.
