A weekend under the sign of the shooting stars
Niklas Hartweg and Amy Baserga placed 3rd on the podium in the single mixed relay at the World Cup in Pokaljuka (SLO). The two 22-year-olds thus achieved the first podium place for Switzerland in this discipline on Sunday. The best result so far was achieved by Lena-Häcki-Gross and Benjamin Wenger with 5th place at the World Championships 2020 in Antholz.
The French team Antonin Guigonnat and Lou Jeanmonnot finished second ahead of the strong duo Niklas/Amy and the victory went to the Norwegian duo Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen and Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold. For Niklas Hartweg it is already the 2nd World Cup podium this season after the 2nd place in Kontiolathi.
The rest of the Swiss team also showed strong performances in Pokaljuka. The single mixed relay was followed by the mixed relay on Sunday afternoon. The team with Sebastian Stalder, Jeremy Finello, Aita Gasparin and Lena Häcki-Gross just missed the podium and finished in fourth place.

The Swiss also attracted attention at the IBU Cup in Oserblie, Slovakia. Flurina Volken and Gion Stalder were also able to take a podium place in the single-mixed relay and were celebrated in third place.
