Bike Kingdom draws positive season balance

In ten days, on Sunday, October 23, 2022, the third official bike season in the Bike Kingdom will end. This year, the success story of the "Kingdom" in Arosa, Lenzerheide and Chur continues - with satisfied mountain railroads, service providers, partners and above all: satisfied mountain bikers. Snow conditions and temperatures permitting, individual lifts will be in operation during the November peak on weekends from October 29 to November 27, 2022.

Review of this year's biking season
It is particularly gratifying to observe how a young bike community is growing up and more and more families are spending their vacations in the Bike Kingdom. Through the targeted activation and further development of the Bike Kingdom App, the bike community also continued to grow with over 70,000 downloads. The Bike Kingdom Park (formerly Lenzerheide Bikepark) is the heart of the Bike Kingdom and celebrated its tenth anniversary this summer. This was reason enough for various attractions, parties and the release of a documentary film that looks back on the beginnings and the development of the park and the sport of mountain biking in Lenzerheide itself. The film is available here on YouTube. This year's event calendar at Bike Kingdom could not have been more varied. The season kicked off early with the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup at the Bike Kingdom Games in early July. Exciting races were also guaranteed at the Bike Kingdom Kids Cups, a junior race series in the discipline of downhill - all starting places were fully booked. The Bike Kingdom Feast in August and the traditional testRIDE in September also provided a varied range of events and a good atmosphere. In Arosa, there was a lot going on with the Hörnli Trailjagd or the Family Bike Vibes, as well as in Chur with the ÖKK Bike Revolution. 

Outlook for the 2023 biking season
After the bike season is before the bike season: The guardians of the Bike Kingdom are already striving to inspire loyal and new fans next year. Already certain are the dates of the major Bike Kingdom events such as the Bike Kingdom Games with the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup (June 9-11, 2023), the Bike Kingdom Feast (August 18-20, 2023) and the testRIDE (September 8-10, 2023). The Bike Kingdom Kids Cup will also enter its third season, with dates to be communicated at a later date. 

At Bike Kingdom Park Lenzerheide, opening hours will also be extended in the 2023 high season as part of the "Late Shred". In terms of construction, new obstacles and sections are also being planned. The Bike Kingdom is sticking to the successful recipe of unbundling, new trail offers are accordingly in the planning stage. 

November high Arosa Lenzerheide
Until Sunday, October 23, 2022, all facilities in Arosa Lenzerheide as well as Chur will be in continuous operation. As long as the snow situation permits, the trails and tours in the Bike Kingdom will of course continue to be accessible. The Alpenbikepark Chur will take up its last weekend of operation on the weekend of November 5 and 6, 2022. As part of the November high, various facilities as well as the Bike Kingdom Park Lenzerheide will be open on the weekends from October 29 to November 27, 2022, depending on snow conditions and temperatures.
