Swiss International Air Lines is christening one of its new Airbus A220-100/300s with the name Lenzerheide.

The sky is the limit
Swiss International Air Lines is closing its 20th anniversary with a very special campaign: 20 modern, low-emission Airbus A220-100/300 aircraft are being christened with the names of various Swiss tourist regions to represent the diversity of the Swiss tourist landscape above the clouds. In cooperation with Switzerland Tourism, a competition was launched last December in which more than 50 destinations submitted creative entries.

You can take off in the Bike Kingdom
The Lenzerheide holiday region has taken up the theme of flying and shown in its application what SWISS and our Bike Kingdom have in common, that you can also take off with us and expect perfect guest service.

SWISS plane is called Lenzerheide
The effort has paid off: it is with great pleasure and also a little pride that we can announce that one of the latest SWISS aircraft will be christened Lenzerheide.

In total, three of the latest generation of aircraft will bear a name from Graubünden. Congratulations from our side also to:

  • Viamala
  • Val Surses
