Despite current snowfall, the Planoiras Folk Cross-Country Skiing Race cannot be held next Sunday, 15 January 2023. The event will therefore be postponed to Saturday, 4 March 2023. The "Bündner Langlauftag" of the J+S will take place as planned this Saturday, 14 January 2023, in the Roland Arena in Lantsch/Lenz.

People have been hoping for snow for a long time: now it has arrived, or will arrive in the next few days - but it is too late. The preparation of the tracks for the Planoiras Folk Cross-Country Skiing Race should have started soon in order to create optimal conditions. With the amount of snow that has fallen so far, this would not yet be possible. Instead of offering an alternative route, the organizers have decided to postpone the event, with the hope that it will then be possible to run on the original course. The 38th Planoiras Folk Cross-Country Skiing Race will now take place on Saturday, 4 March 2023. The registrations will be transferred automatically. Those who cannot participate on the new date can request a refund of the participation fee or have it carried over to the following year.

«Graubünden Cross-Country Day» of the J+S this Saturday
The date and programme of the "Graubünden Cross-Country Skiing Day" of the J+S (Jugend+Sport) next Saturday, 14 January 2023, which will be held as part of the Planoiras Folk Cross-Country Skiing Race, remain unchanged. The races will be scored and counted towards the Raiffeisen Nordic Cup. Young cross-country skiers will compete individually and as a team in the relay race.
