Winter Ranger project in Lenzerheide proves its worth
At the beginning, six people were employed under the name of Heidsee Ranger to draw attention to the Corona protection measures in force there and to provide guests with tips on less frequented, perhaps previously unknown places. Due to the consistently positive response, the project was gradually extended. After the first summer and autumn season, the Heidsee Rangers are still working under the new name Winter Ranger.

Origin of the Winter Rangers and places of deployment
The Winter Rangers of the Lenzerheide holiday region cannot be assigned to any particular group of people or age. They are both locals and owners of second homes, senior citizens and students, people on short-time work or people looking for compensation who do the ranger job as a hobby. There are currently 26 rangers working in the entire destination, both in the valley and on the mountain.

Informing and sensitizing guests
The Winter Rangers see themselves first as hosts of the Lenzerheide holiday region, whose primary goal is to accompany guests as well as possible through their stay in Lenzerheide. In addition to raising Corona's awareness, this also includes providing information on orientation in the destination, insider tips or simply an informal chat.
