Arosa Lenzerheide starts the winter season 2021/22

Old News

For winter sports enthusiasts, the long wait is over. The cold temperatures and the fresh snow of the last week make it possible: the snow sports area of Arosa Lenzerheide will start the winter season this coming weekend. Snow-hungry skiers will be able to take their first turns of the 2021/22 winter season on the slopes at Hörnli in Arosa and Urdenfürggli in Lenzerheide from Saturday, 13 November 2021. Access to the ski area is possible from Arosa and, for the first time in November, also from Lenzerheide (Heimberg chairlift access). For the time being, skiing is possible on weekends.

Arosa Lenzerheide offers guests a varied mountain experience next weekend, 13/14 November 2021: Arosa's local mountain Weisshorn, the 360° panorama restaurant Weisshorngipfel and Arosa Bärenland are open to pedestrians.

For winter sports enthusiasts, the long wait is over. On Saturday, 13 November and Sunday, 14 November the following lifts, pistes and mountain restaurants will be open and in operation:

Arosa Lenzerheide has thought of everything for the start of the winter season. In addition to the cable car facilities and prepared pistes, guests can enjoy a wide range of activities:

Food and drink: fresh mountain air makes you hungry. The 360° panorama restaurant Weisshorngipfel, the Hörnlihütte, a snack bar on the terrace of the Mottahütte (only in fine weather) and various restaurants in Arosa and Lenzerheide invite guests and locals to enjoy culinary delights.

Comfortable without a car: For a comfortable arrival and departure, the offer "Your ski ticket is also a public transport ticket" is already valid on the coming weekends. Skiers and snowboarders can use the Rhaetian Railway (2nd class) and Postbus Graubünden free of charge on the Arosa - Chur - Lenzerheide - Tiefencastel axis when practising alpine winter sports with a valid ski ticket. In Arosa itself, the free local bus runs every half hour on Saturday and Sunday between the Weisshornbahn and Hörnli stops. Winter sports enthusiasts can reach the Hörnli valley station and thus the entrance to the winter sports area comfortably with the Arosa bus.

Totally relaxed online booking

Book day and 2-day tickets online and benefit twice: Firstly, the prices for Arosa Lenzerheide are always at least 6% cheaper online than at the sales points of the mountain railways and secondly, guests do not lose time queuing and instead spend more time on the slopes.
