On Swiss Mill Day, we will be putting the old mill in Zorten into operation. Take a look.

At 2.00 pm, the mill is set in motion and grain is ground. The museum guides, Monica, Wendelin and Thomas, will guide you through the museum and show you what's new at 3.00 pm. Take part and feel free to ask what you've always wanted to know. Visitors of all ages can grind grain at the hand mill and then weigh it on the old scales. Anyone who manages to grind exactly 100g (+/- 10%) of flour in the hand mill without weighing it first will receive a little surprise. We make felt bread baskets for the breakfast table. Coffee, tea and pastries are available for refreshment. Fresh bread from the Pastroin will be for sale.
