Heidsee Rangers prove themselves and remain at work
The Lenzerheide holiday region was more popular than ever in the summer 2020. In order to manage this large number of guests, we deployed the so-called Heidsee Ranger. Due to the consistently positive response, the Heidsee Rangers will remain present until and during the autumn holidays.
It was the COVID-19 pandemic in spring 2020 that required a rethink on the part of tourism and rapid, innovative solutions. A first Heidsee Ranger was already on trial at the Whitsun weekend. In the meantime, a total of seven people have joined the Heidsee Ranger team, and professional uniforms and an information stand at Heidsee have been added. The Heidsee Rangers are no longer only on patrol at Heidsee (Canols/Watersports Centre), but also at the Rothorn valley station. They were also on site during the two summer events Secret Garden and testRIDE and will also be at the Bike Kingdom Feast next weekend.
The Heidseeranger as a «walking information office»
The Heidsee Rangers do not primarily act as «supervisors», but as hosts. Their presence gives our guests a sense of security and shows that we take this issue seriously. The Heidsee Rangers not only provide COVID-19 information, but also tips on how to enjoy the Lenzerheide holiday region without large crowds. As a «mobile information office» they are also on duty wherever they are needed. This includes treating a (harmless) child injury with a patch or motivational help when carrying a rucksack.
At weekends and during the autumn holidays, the Heidseeranger team remains on duty.
Our Heidseerangers are still out and about at weekends and throughout the autumn holidays.
