In the Lenzerheide holiday region four varied sledge runs await you. The mountain railway takes you comfortably to the start of a rapid descent into the valley.
Sledging Scharmoin: 3.8 km in length and an impressive 415 m of difference in altitude - sheer sledging fun! The cable car Rothorn 1 conveniently takes you to the Scharmoin middle station.
Tip: Every Wednesday from 6.00 to 9.00 pm during winter, night sledging takes place on the illuminated toboggan run. You can then stop off at the Scharmoin mountain restaurant.
With the Tgantieni chairlift, you get to the 1.5 km Tgantieni sledge run, which takes you downhill to Val Sporz at a breathtaking speed.
The road from Sporz to Zorten, via Lain, is approx. 2 km long and is closed to traffic in the winter when there is sufficient snow. It is then excellent for sledging.
The 1.5 km long sledge run leads from the restaurant Tschugga, to the village of Parpan. The toboggan run is illuminated at night.
Do you need a sledge?
The floodlit 3.8 km long sledge run, starting at the Scharmoin middle station and ending at Canols (Rothorn valley station), gives you on New Year's Eve and Wednesdays the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable evening on two runners. The cable car Rothorn 1 leads you upwards on the mountain. In addition, you can enjoy a hearty meal in the grill restaurant Scharmoin.
The night sledging season commences with the popular New Year's Eve event. Afterwards, the sledge run is open and illuminated from 8 January until 11 March 2020 every Wednesday from 6.00 until 10.00 pm.
