Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn

The Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn is the core of the skiing area Arosa Lenzerheide, as it connects both destinations. After many years of planning and waiting, the cable car is in service since January 2014. Arosa Lenzerheide with its 225 kilometres of slopes, numerous mountain restaurants and sheer endless hours of sunshine, is the biggest connected skiing area of the Canton of Grisons.

The Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn connects Arosa with Lenzerheide. In the early days of 2014, a new era started: The connection fo the skiing destination Arosa and Lenzerheide opened. The biggest connected skiing area of the Canton of Grisons is now attracting with 225 km of slopes. People have been discussing and planning for 40 years, during 9 months the construction work was going on and the Arosa Bergbahnen AG and Lenzerheide Bergbahnen invested 50 mio CHF,  now it's done: The Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn connects LenzerHeidi with Gigi vo Arosa. From Mount Weisshorn via Hörnli to Mount Stätzerhorn and further to Piz Scalottas: In two valleys and on three sunny sides, numerous mountain restaurants and cozy huts lure besides almost endless slope fun. By the way: The Aerial Tramway Urdenbahn is also in service during summer!
