The event became a well-attended Bike Fest and not only inspired the enduro pros of the Swiss Enduro Series (SES), but also families with children.

Two weeks before the mountain bike world cup race makes the trails around the Rothorn valley station unsafe - the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup will take place in Lenzerheide from 3 to 5 September 2021 - the centre of the Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide belonged to the participants of the Bike Kingdom Feast. The programme included the start of the Swiss Enduro Series (SES) on Saturday and a varied programme for families with Family Dual Slalom and Bike Kingdom Kids Cup on Sunday. The event was held with many enthusiastic Bike Kingdom fans, in the best summer weather and without any major accidents.

Familiar faces at the Swiss Enduro Series (SES)
The Swiss Enduro Series (SES) was created in close cooperation with the Enduro World Series and Swiss Cycling and was already sold out in spring. The 300 or so participants showed up for training on Friday and competed in the race on Saturday. With Andreane Lanthier Nadeau (winner Elite Women, Canada) and Caroline Gehrig (runner-up Elite Women, Switzerland) or Jonas Bernet (winner Elite Men, Switzerland), national and international World Series pros raced for victory. A familiar face in the Bike Kingdom, Bike Kingdom Park rider Armin Hartmann, came first in his category (U21 Men).

Shining childrens eyes and proud parents
For families with children, not only the Family Dual Slalom on Sunday was a highlight. There, one child started together with one parent and competed in a «one against one» format against a competing family. The Helfenstein family from Neftenbach came out on top. The second round of the Bike Kingdom Kids Cup was also sold out, and the organizers were delighted with the participation of over 150 children. The budding downhill pros were between six and 16 years old, and the level was amazingly high. One could already see a clear increase between the first and second staging. The third round of the Bike Kingdom Kids Cup will take place on 3 October 2021.

Cosy social programme instead of party and dance
To comply with the current Corona guidelines, there was no party at the Bike Kingdom Feast. But this did not dampen the mood. On the contrary: the cosy get-together within the bike community was very well received. On Saturday evening, the film «A Bikers Ballad» by Matchstick Productions was shown, followed by a «Abstigerlis». The various food stands of AlpinTrend with La Tgoma and Romana as well as the restaurant Sportzentrum, which spoiled the visitors with all kinds of delicacies, were also praised.
