Fantastic, historic wooden chalet in a top location in an absolutely quiet and sunny location in Innerarosa right next to the slopes and children's ski school (5 minutes), free-standing and quiet.
With cozy kitchen, large living room with distant view, 2 TV´s, DVD player, radio, internet. 4 double rooms (one with a bunk bed), 2 bathrooms, shower, guest toilet, children's corner and glazed sun terrace. Parking for 2 cars. For a maximum of 8 people
Booking versions/choices
The house can be booked in two versions - either the entire house (8 beds) or, on request, the ground floor and 1st floor (6 beds). Of course, the whole house can also be booked with fewer people. in the high season only the whole house can be booked. Important to know, you can only book either the 8 or the6 version at the same time.
Location is everything!
The special thing about Chalet Güetli is its location, for both winter and summer. In winter, it´s very close to the ski lifts, the ski school, the hiking trails and the bus to the village. Despite this proximity there is absolute calm, because the house is in a dead end, next to three other houses that belong to our family. In summer you can enjoy the advantage that countless beautiful hiking tours can be started from the house. It’s also a paradise for children, as they can play outdoors undisturbed and without paying attention to traffic.
Resort Arosa
Arosa forms the end of a long mountain road from Chur through the Schanfigg valley and is therefore very quiet. Driving is prohibited after midnight - this not only protects the ears, but also ensures the particularly fresh Arosan mountain air. During the day, the free regular bus service (every 10 minutes) reduces the volume of individual traffic in the village. The Chalet Güetli is 200 meters away from the next bus station at the Hotel Kulm. You can take the bus within 5 minutes to get to the train station. There the train leaves through the romantic Schanfigg valley down to Chur. The bus continues (after the train station) to the opposite side of the valley in another 10 minutes to the golf course in Maran. Arosa is very manageable, which gives the place a cozy atmosphere. It´s a dead end valley.
Activities in the area
Arosa is a family-friendly place, both in winter and in summer. In winter it is very practical for a family to live in the Chalet Güetli, as the ski school is 3 minutes away. This means that the parents can drop off their children there and can go skiing or hiking along the wonderful promenades themselves. There are also fun toboggan runs, one at the Tschuggen gondola, 5 minutes away from the Güetli. If you like cross-country skiing, you are in good hands in Arosa. There is a cross-country ski run in Maran on the other side of Innerarosa. There are beautiful views and can be reached free of charge by bus. There is another cross-country ski run on the Untersee, also very nice, in absolute tranquility.In summer, Arosa offers numerous hiking trails, some of which can also be done by mountain bike, and in addition, great trails have been created for particularly sporty people. There is also the highest alpine golf course here, very interesting to play. At the Untersee there is a nostalgic bathing establishment, cozy with hospitality. Arosa has now installed the so-called bear country (Bärenland). A new home was created for brown bears in need, a popular excursion destination, next to the middle station of the Weisshorn gondola.
