Arosa Lenzerheide ski area goes into full operation
From Saturday, 19 December 2020, the Arosa Lenzerheide ski area will be in full operation, except a few lifts (upper section of the Carmenna chairlift, Cumascheals chairlift, Ried and Crappa Grossa ski lifts) and individual slopes. All entry points are accessible via perfectly groomed valley runs. With the opening of the Black Diamond Slope, a snow sports treat is available to guests in time for the festive season. The Honeyland on the Arosa side is also open.

The following lifts will start operating in the next few days:

  • On 16 December Tschuggen Ost chairlift in operation from 8.20 am; 1st section Arosa-Weisshorn aerial tramway in operation from 9.00 am.
  • On 17 December Ski lift Valbella
  • On 18 December chairlifts Tgantieni and Scalottas

Some of the slopes that are not open still require additional technical snow or are natural snow slopes with an insufficient base. Our staffs are working intensively on these slopes to be able to open them.

All catering establishments in the canton of Graubünden will remain closed until midnight on 22 December 2020 due to the decision of the government council of the canton of Graubünden.
