On 14 July, Reto Bonifazi, art historian and Germanist, will talk to the author about nature writing and her current project, which she is implementing in Arosa. She will demonstrate her approach to nature texts and how she comes up with writing prompts using selected poems and short prose from her last two publications Der Himmel ist altes Silber (Dittrich Verlag 2023) and Von Hängen fallen - Meraner Sammlung, Achim Stegmüller, Anja Liedtke, Sabine Hey (drawings) (Achter Verlag 2023).

Dr Anja Liedtke lives in the Ruhr area. She won the Bettina von Arnim Literature Prize with a travelogue about Shanghai. This was followed by novels and travelogues about Israel, David Bowie, a socially and ecologically sustainable society and the consequences of National Socialism for her generation. Most recently, the Nature Writing volumes were published: Der Himmel ist altes Silber (2023) and Von Hängen fallen - Meraner Sammlung, Achim Stegmüller, Anja Liedtke, Sabine Hey (drawings), (2023). She was awarded the Poetry Prize of the Ruhr-Mark Authors' Group for a poem from this book.
